Default DCR with solid roller cams.

When trying to run numbers for my next setup, im having a little trouble calculating the DCR. With solid rollers its a rule of thumb that theyre about 8-10 degrees bigger than a comparable hyd roller cam becuase the last eats up a lot of durration. So when plugging numbers into the calculators, how would I go by finding my DCR.

Wouldn't figuring DCR for a solid roller be dead nuts? (don't the valves follow the cam lobe more precisely) The calcs I've seen don't seem to care if it's hyd or solid...Now I'm curious

You forget, the specs they give you don't take into account lash. You will lose a little bit of duration and a little bit of lift depending on how much lash you put in it.
