need help with cam and stall choice......please come inside
need help with cam and stall choice......please come inside ok so i took my car into work today because i was almost 100% sure the motor mounts were out on my car and they would be covered under my warranty. but when we put it on the lift we found my water pump is leaking really bad and i cant drive it untill it is replaced, the water pump also is going to be under warranty.
so i was thinking while the water pump is off it wouldnt take alot more work to do a cam swap! i really dont know alot about cam shaft's and what would be best for my car it is driven to work on most days it is nice out and i drive it on the weekends all the time. all my current mods are in my sig i will be installing an ls6 intake with bbk 80mm tb in the next 2 weeks also. i have been thinking i want a Magic stick 4 but i dont know if that would be a good choice??? i also need help with stall to buy and should i replace the timing chain with a double roller and what pushrods,springs,lifters and any thing else to buy???? btw i have 3:73 gears also.

that's a lot of cam for an auto.
do you have a power goal.
get an ls2 timing chain...much cheaper yet still an upgrade
any aftermarket hardened pushrod shold work, springs will depend on the lift of the cam.
lifters aren't really needed unless you think yours are bad. realize you have to pull the heads on the LS1 to get to the lifters. so that's another world of work.

im not one hundred percent sure what cam i want yet i thought that the magic stick 4 would be alittle too much but not sure. i would like to make as much power as possible but still be able to drive it! my lifters are good so i dont think i will replace them.
