psi question oil pump

ok all stock my psi was 60 no matter what on idle and hot. since the cam and ls6 oil pump its at 40psi at idle and hot whats the deal

Mine sits right at about 45 psi at a warm idle as well. From what ive heard, a ported oil pump will show less psi at idle, but more at WOT.

at wot with the old pump it was 80psi this one i dont knwo yet but also im using a bigger oil filter and dyno oil (mobil clean 5000) until i get more miles on it i usually use mobil syn 5w30

my 02 z28 stock was right around 40 warm idle and i never had any problems.

mine stock is around 40 as well. i would love to get a higher psi

with stock cam and stock oil pump i was at 60psi at idle/hot and at hot was 80 psi i misss that lol

what suprises me is with very little little tuning that i have done i dont see any difference in drivability with the g5x3 exepct on cold start takes abotu 10 secs to get a good idle other then that its just liek stock
