i just picked up a 97 ls1 it was hydrolocked and has two bent rods. is it worth cleaning it up and building a stroker out of it because of the thiner cylinder walls? what are some of the set ups you guys have seen with these motors? can these earlier ones handle ridiculous amounts of power? i am planing on droping this into my 95 fomula so any suggestions would be helpful.

let me give you some good advise on that motor...take ti to a machine shop and have it magnafluxed and the works before you even clean it up
