Also, the article says the Livernois Stage-3 head is 220cc, but your website says they're 240cc....??? Just wondering which one they are.

Thanks
Our old stage 3 was only 220cc our new ones are better.

It's a new day....

Several years ago there may have been some issues with some of our products. As most of you know we have spent countless hours improving our products, techniques, and personnel. Not one item on our heads has been untouched or overlooked. This is something that has taken alot of work. Vast amounts of time and resources have been put toward making our products what they are today. As a result, we are experiencing the greatest surge in sales that our company has ever enjoyed. We knew all along that if we employed the best people (finally), had excellent parts to work with, and never left behind the idea that we must produce the best heads that we possibly could, the results would be as they are today - great !

If you are looking for the best value on a quality pair of heads, Patriot is the way to go.

i bought the patriot heads from Excessive and they work great for my turbo application. i took off stock heads so it was an upgrade for me. the afr is an expensive investment, so if money is the deciding factor patriot or liv are good options.

It's all about the $. AFR's are better, but cost more. A lot more.

I'm torn between Patriot Stage II 5.3L cylinder heads and TSP/PRC Stage 2.5 5.3L cylinder heads. Can't beat the price. Raises the compression some (more power ). Also you can run up to an MS3 with the TSP/PRC stage 2.5 5.3L heads. The specs on that cam are 237/242 with .603"/.609" of lift on a 112 or 114 LSA. I'd rather pay under $1200 than $2500 on heads I got quoted heads/cam/spring/retainers/pushrods/oil pump/timing chain/gaskets/etc. from Texas Speed for $2200 Why not buy all the parts for the same price as AFR's. Now if you are going into FI or bigger cubes then maybe the AFR's are something to consider, but for a basic heads/cam swap I can't justify swinging the extra cash. Patriots or TSP/PRC are the perfect budget head in my humble opinion
