Default General cam knowledge needed....

What would be the difference in performance/power band/torque&Hp#'s with a cam having more duration with less lift...versus lower duration with more lift???

Example...ISKY LSX CAM 232/242,.530/.540 ON A 113LSA. pOWER BAND IS ADVERTISED AS 2500-6800 RPM.

VS.

TORQUER V.3 231/234 .643"/.598" 111 LSA...LETS SAY THE TOR V.3 WAS ON A 113LSA. POWER BAND IS ADVERTISED AS 2300-6700 RPM.

WILL PEAK HP/TQ NUMBERS BE AT DIFFERENT RPM'S? IF SO, WHICH ONE WOULD HAVE THE HIGHER/LOWER PEAK HP/TQ NUMBERS BETWEEN THE TWO CAMS?

Peak is relative to IVC, higher IVC= higher peak. Of course this also depends on intake setup.
