Default High Idle ???

I have an 03 5.3L in my s10. It has a cam, intake, tune. Just got the exhaust put on and now it idles high. It idles about 1300-1400 rpm. Put it in gear and it still idles real high. What do yall think?

It sounds like you need an idle position sensor. Not much to replacing one. You can get someone with a tech II to scan it and tell you for sure it that is the problem. If it is the problem they only cost about $30. But I work at a Chevy dealer so the price might be a little more to the public.

I think it is IAC. I took it off and watched to see if the plunger moved and it didnt. So I am going to try me a new one today and see what happens.
