Default HELP Ls6 pass. side head leaking! sensor?

I just added coolant to my Mti 422 with LS6 heads (casting #243). the passengers side head is leaking coolant from a threaded hole (the hole is between the header and firewall)

I am assuming the LS6 heads must have some type of coolant sensor there? I know the drivers side head has the same coolant sensor in the front that my LS1 heads had...

what year and model would I get this sensor or plug for? 2002 Z06 vette?

thanks!

my car will be done mid June, appointment set up with speed inc

Just pull the coolant plug out of your old head if you still have them. It has an 8mm Allen head.

You just need a metric bolt. I wish I could remember what size it is, but I can't. Try the bolt that holds the egr bracket on to the head (if your car has EGR) as it might be the same size. That'll at least get you going again.

Also, an old/broken temp. sending unit will work fine if you have one.......
