02 extensions? 12 or 24

guys,
Im getting ready to install this weekend LS1 Pacesetters long tubes on my 02 LS1 camaro (6 speed). I know I will need to get 02 sensor extensions. I figure I would get 24 inch to avoid any and all complications of the wires reaching.
My question is as follows: Besides physical length, there will not be any other issues, such as signal that can be had right? I hope asked it clearly.

i used the 24inch and had maybe 6 inch extra room

I had issues with my extensions and ended up buying o2 sensors for a corvette
