Default ? about ARP Main Studs and the oil deflector!

I am trying to install the oil deflector shield on to the ARP main studs but there are a couple problems: 1. the studs are bigger than some of the holes on the deflector shield, and 2. the nuts on the main studs sit a bit higher than the stock setup did.

Are people enlarging the holes in the defletor sheild? or just not using the deflector sheild? Please tell me someone has done this themselves so I don't have to call all over place...

TIA,
Dan

You most definitely NEED the deflector tray! All you have to do is drill out the holes that are too small. I think there are 2 or 3.

Thanks Stevie!!

I knew I needed to keep it, don't even know why I asked. Wasn't sure if there was anything else I needed to know to do this.

Yes, there are three holes to enlarge. I just need to go find some M10-1.25 pitch ( I think that's the correct size) hardware someplace now...
