Default DO i need to change the gear of cam???

hi guys my Q

DO I need to change the gear of cam ???
with new cam ???
lift cam under .600

and if need to change it .
is the ls2 timing and gear cam fit on ls1 directly ?
or Just buy timing without gear cam??

the car mile / 56K

It is a good practice to install a new timing set (cam and crank gear with chain) when installing a new cam. I would recommend a double roller for strength.

I don't know if the LS2 timing sets are compatable.

Look for an LS1 based timing set from the sponsers list on the right. I've purchased parts from both Thunder Racing http://www.thunderracing.com/ and Speed Inc www.ls1speed.com.

bought my ls2 timing set. ended up only using the chain as my gear/sprocket looked really good for 75k on them.
