Default LS1 and LQ9 crank pulleys the same?

I am trying to put a 03 silverado SS back to stock and removed the ASP crank pully I had on. I put on what I thought was the stock pulley I took off years ago, BUT it could also be the stock pulley off my 99 camaro... but its the only pulley I can find

anway, I can't get the crank bolt to thread. it looks to me like the pulley is on all the way and the bolt just doesn't seem long enough. I even put the belt on and the pulley seems on all the way.

I don't get it ???? unless maybe the LS1 pully is different and I am trying to use it.

You might get a better response in the conversions/hybrid section. ?
