cheatr package 1/4 mile time????
cheatr package 1/4 mile time???? Hi everyone, im really looking in to the cheatr package from thunder racing. Im looking for a good setup that i can drive daily. My car is a 01 a4 ss. I know that the times are goin to depend on the suspension setup and traction but im just wondering what kind of times these cars can do. Im goin to keep my stock manifolds and y-pipe and go with a gmmg catback or im goin to go with the bassani tru-dual catback. Im not worried about being the fastest car around cuz i know that will never happen.
People could tell you what times they put down, but that will do you no good.
It all depends on where you start. Pretty much any cam will get you .3-.5 seconds off your 1/4 mile time with a tune.
That's what matters. If a car that is already running a 12.8 with bolt ons puts a cam in and runs a 12.4. YOU won't necessarily run a 12.4 cam only. Not if you're running a 13.5 right now.

Here is a thread from last year that a guy posted which shows how he was able to get into the 11's with that cam. Had the usual bolt-ons, and some drag radials. He was an A4 also. Just some info for you. I was actually looking at this cam for a while.
