Why all the Vindicator talk?
When people see 445 rwhp cam only with an ls6 intake, Vengeance probably had to hire an extra employee to handle the phone calls, email, about this cam

Kinda funny huh!
MY 408 n20 motor made only 510 rwhp on the mustang dyno.ITs a GD turd i should sell it all and get a vengance setup. LOL

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I keep expecting my car to blow up with all the comments I see about fly cutting with this cam.
I asked Ron when I bought it, he said no need to flycut. If he had said it would be a good idea, I would have, but he said no need.
I went 11.70's at 120 with my MS4 cam only and a ls6 intake. While at the track on the first pass I must have broken my valve springs because it would not rev over 6k. By the time I had them replaced and retuned, it rained at the track and then i had to work forced several weekends after... anyways my point is with the right setup any of the big cams can run the numbers.
Yes I was full weight, 12 bolt etc etc...
Also my car didn't make those kinds of numbers on the dyno, I was 405 corrected and I got a load of **** on here cuz I dynoed "low" ....
Good that you know that..
So are Comp lobes the best in almost every situation?
What is your reasoning on offering 3 different LSA's for the same lobes?
Do you discuss with the customer which set of valve events would be best for his combo?
Just trying to get a feel here..
6.81 @ 100.7 best 660' pass. Best 660' MPH 102.18. 10.76 @ 126 best 1320'
I know that car still has a little left in it also. Not bad at all
vengeance racing - i don't care how long they've been around, i see more of their posts in the DYNO SECTION than any other sponsor. the combinations they put together run good, period. on the dyno, at the track, on the street - whatever. they run hard. there is no disputing that.
the vindicator cam - i have been researching lsx cams for years. i am educated on how an engine works and i have also been around drag racing all of my life. i was raised on a b stock automatic chevelle. with that being said - the cam makes great numbers, can be tuned to tolerate 342 gears, and can be installed dot to dot with no problems (so far). what more do you want from a f*cking 240+ duration cam that is proven to make 400+whp?
I'm not a big baller or nothing like that but if you want to have a sweet setup just save up. There's a lot of ppl who are impatient and just go for the budget stuff. My car has been down since Mar of 07. I wish Vengeance was closer so they can tune but i'm taking it to LGM. Which they charge in arm and leg for a tune but I should have results from another shop to add to this thread here in a couple of months. I also have a moser 9in and will also have track times. But almost done!
Dont get me wrong, Im not making excuses... Our DYNO #s have been backed up by quite a few TRACK #s over and over again... 347Fairless is running 121mph in a stock/full weight car cam only... We have quite a few guys running the Vindicator/TFS heads trapping 102/103 in the 1/8 at their local tracks... We have a 98 with 140,000 miles on it with Stage II TEA heads/Vindicator running 10.70s in positive DA...
So yea, there might be some hype on the Vindicator right now, but their are valid reasons for the hype.... We all know dyno #s sell, but so do track times, customer service, quality, honesty, and reputation... All of which we strive to have the best in the business...
Lastly, #s @ .050 mean very little when looking at overall specs of a camshaft
