Please Help w/Melling oil pump.... The melling oil pump I bought at speedinc is rubbing against the LS2 chain!! Frazier said as long as it's not a double roller it should be fine! But as you know its not a dbl roller, the sprockets are on good, what gives? any help will be appreciated, thanks!

That doesn't makes sense unless your chain sprocket isn't installed correctly. Or if you DO have a double roller then you will need to install the spacers. Try to take a pic and post it...kinda hard to imagine how your single timing chain can be rubbing against the pump.

It was a casting deformity!! There were some minor imperfections and All the mechanic (grimreaper), Mike Alsop's Team Trans Am's mechanic, from the hit TV show Bullrun did was smooth it out. I couldn't return it because speedinc is in schaumberg ILL and Mike Raisor Pontiac is in Lafayette IN. But It is on now and the cam is too and It is BADAZZ. I am happy !!!! I appreciate you guys attempt to help!!!!!
