minimal needed amount of oil in oilpan ? due to me having to remake the oilpan, the amount of oil has been reduced.
what would be a minimal amount that would still be sufficient for fast road use ?
due to very thight room around the pan, i can not simply enlarge it

yes i see, but this isn't a typical ls1 question, but more a special ls series problem, so thats why i put it in the advanced board, as some ls2-ls7 owners could have some answers that might help me, those will be missed in the generation III , where these guys might not look...
This section gets 20x the views as the advanced section. You're more likely to get an answer here. I agree with Donaimian said. I would also run the tallest oil filter you can. This will add a few precious ounces more of capacity.
