I'm about do a cam swap on my 02 Z and was wondering which spring u guys would go with. I'm thinking about either the Manley or the CC918's. The cam I'm going to go with is the TR reverse split 227/224 .569/.563 with a 114 centerline. I've heard some horror stories about the 918's but haven't heard anything about the Manley's.

Yeh i have the 1116's too, but they are not installed yet. what tool did u use to swap these in; these are really stout springs!!! I wonder if you could run them without the inner spring? ...it keeps binding on me when i try to use a top spring compressor tool...

I didn't do my own springs. My heads were taken off and sent to Chris at www.cylinderheadspecialties.com and he ported my heads, did a valvejob, and installed these springs, retainers and valves.
