whats needed for LS6 heads

yeah i basically meant are there any LS6 parts needed instead of the stock parts. i know i will need new gaskets and such. i just didn't know if they varied between the ls6 and the ls1.

if you get a cam you'll need new head gaskets and head bolts, a timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, some threadlocker, and an ls2 timing chain would be a good idea....thats all i can thnink of off the top of my head...but then again...its early too...

The cam swap is very easy in my opinion if done while the heads are off the car. But if you don't mess with the cam it will just be the head bolts and gaskets. oh yeah, you will of course need new springs with the cam and push rods and a ported LS6 oil pump are a good idea in addition to everything 1badta13 listed.
