Default Morell Lifter Preload and Engine break in Oil

Search is not working.... again. So quick question. What is the preload on Morell lifters?

Also, there was a thread a while ago talkinf about what oils to use during break in due to the new stuff not having some z quark property or something. I think the general thought was to use Rotella but I can't remember. I guess I need to start writing things down if this site keeps not working.

I would also like to know this too.
I have a 408 Twin Turbo Cast Iron motor that is almost finished .

Need to know what to set the preload on my morel lifters too.

A lot of guys are running them at 0.030". I spoke with Rick Morel and he recommended 0.030" - 0.050" of preload. Since I had an ajustable rocker setup (Cranes), I split the difference and set mine at 0.040".
