Yes, my current car has the 228/230.

I think I will go with the 114. I do appreciate all of your help on my decision. Will keep posted and hopefully be able to get numbers up soon.

Brian,

Do you have and sound clips of your 225 cam? I was looking into that cam but it seems like not too many people use it.

dayrn, how do you like the cam other then that? I have a 00 SS thats a DD and i was looking into the 224 112. I want something that sounds choppy at idle but runs good as well and is reliable. I wonder if this is the cam i should look into?

Not really. I have some videos of it, but none on the PC. They were all taken with my camcorder. Sorry

FWIW, the overlap on the 225 cam is the same as my current 228/230 114, so, they should lope about the same.

Sounds good. The main thing I was looking for was a good And it sounds that with the right heads and supporting mods this cam will be a good one for what im looking for. One question..... Is the ANY OTHER cam that would be comparable to the 224 but some others may prefer over the TR224.

I'm curious to see some quarter mile times w/ the 224 cam. I'm wondering if this cam and AFR 205's will put me under 11.50? I am saving money for this set up but don't want a roll bar.

I think my problem is the freeze plug behind the power steering pump.

the freeze plug is creating a leak on my v-tech adaptor, which is putting extra load on my motor (approximately 28 hp).

918s at a minimum. LS6 can't handle it I don't believe.
