pistion to head

what is the closest pistion to head (quench)that people have run on here with a LS1 LS2

Piston to HEAD clearance? Isn't that called quench? Or do you mean piston to valve?

Id keep it around .032 or above for quench. Pretty much a .040 head gasket.

I'm with this guy... .40 gasket minimum. Preferably a .045 for a little added safety.
