93,000 miles?
I was wondering what everyone thought about putting a cam in a LS1 that has 93,000 miles on it? I don't want anything big, maybe just a cheater cam or somthing close to it. I have heard stories of people putting in a cam at high miles and the oil pressure going low and wipping out cam bearings. I would also like to know whatelse do I need besides a cam to make this work?

Refer to the sticky.
You will need:
Pushrods
Valve Springs
Cam
Crank Pulley bolt
Timing cover seal/front seal
If a 98 model, water pump gaskets
Recommended
- New oil pump
- O-ring for oil pump pickup tube
- Timing chain
Even with all that I'm probably forgetting something off of the top of my head.
