Default 2002 WS6 engine removal

I need to remove the engine and trans out of my 2002 WS6. I know pretty much to remove the entire engine I need to pull it out from the bottom. But if I remove the manifold, and heads can the engine be removed without taking it out from the bottom or removing the front clip?

you can take it out the bottom without taking the front clip, but if you take it through the top the ac and the other stuff all has to come out

I can't take it out through the bottom, I don't have access to a lift. So if I take out the ac stuff I can take it out through the top without taking the clip off?

To take it out of the top pull all accessories off, and pulley, intake and you can get it out. AC can stay just swing it out of the way. I did this recently.

Take your time but it's not that hard. Oh and PULL THE TRANNY FIRST. I didn't and it made it a pain to get out, i dropped the trans before putting it back in.
