Nice numbers. Those must be 5.7L heads. Your midlift numbers are very respectable. Which cam are you going to pair it up with?

I went 11.74 with a 224/224 .581/.581 112 camed only car before...

This time the cam is 232/230 .595/.591 114 XE-R lobes. Yeah those are 5.7L heads.

Good for you Where are your track times eh? Put up or shut up... Im not seeing anything from you expect your swinging from the nuts of this patriot company. And with 4 posts you don't hold any weight with me except to highjack my thread...

And before you get all bent and come back with oh where are your track times and that bullshit New engine goes in sat... Tuning on the 4th and then you can have some times shortly after that.

WORD!

hey 2000pewterz28 1st off patriot performance is not a sponsor on this board so hopefully a moderator will catch on.
and just for laughs how much are these heads your rambling about. What valves, what are actual port #s and where are your dyno #s and track times? so far all you have to say about them is that they can get you a set of heads quick, but im sure you could seeing as no one on this forum even has a set but you.
T/AMEDIC your heads are going to kick *** with that cam Good Luck with the new setup.

PP's heads are like 1295 bucks for stage 2's and plus 100 for dual springs

so 1395 and Absolutes recent GP had the stage 2's with duals for 1499

100bucks difference isnt much and it sure isnt alot!

I got a emails from PP cause they wanted me to check out their heads, but they were new and I'd rather have a well known name like TEA or Absolute

If you look on thier website (Patriot's) It only has a few pics and the LS1 heads stop flow at .550 lift @ 290 CFM. They flow the same at .600 lift

Those absolute speed #'s look nice. If they have the velocity to match; you'll be hauling ***.

2000: it's not a crime to be happy about your heads, but you highjacked this thread. This thread was about absolute S2 heads. There are plenty of threads asking "what heads to buy?" You can pimp your heads in those and have those guys sign up as a sponsor if they want the publicity.

There are alot of those numbers around on cars going 12`s also. Mostly on other boards but ive seen a bunch here also. I dont know anything about the Patriot heads so there is no need to comment on those but I do know there are alot of cars putting down Dyno #`s and 1/4 times with the Absolute speed heads and the TEA heads and to save 100 bux I dont think I would be that brave. Its only the best bang for the buck if they perform as good as the others.
