can someone get me good directions for a cam and spring swap. also is it a good idea to change valve seals while i'm in there.what about a new timing gear set if so what brands are best. car has an asp pulley and 41,000 miles. again sorry for these beaten to death ?'s but i'm doing my 1st ls1 cam swap tommorow.thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" />

here's a link to JMX's how to page..there should be enough info in there to answer any question's u might have www.ls1howto.com ...as for the valve guide seals you should be very urged to replace them, since you are doing spring's/retainer's anyways you must remove the valve guide seals to acess the lower spring cup's to replace them with your new one's (if they came with new cup's).Prevenative maintenance is always a good idea anyway's..so go ahead with the valve guide seal's..they are only $16.00 a set from the dealer...good luck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
