Default Help! What length pushrods to use with a 02 LS6?

I think I finally decided that I'm going to go for MTI C1 cam for my 02Z06. However because of the 02's smaller base circle and longer valve I'm all confused as to what length of pushrod I need? Will the 7.4's work with the C1 cam or do I need something smaller. I'm going with the Manley springs and retainers-what about retainer height-stock or +.050. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Easy...

The base circle on the stock 02 LS6 cam is about the same as the C1

Use your stock 7.40" rods

Stay with a stock retainer height. The + .050" retainers will decrease your "installed height" and get you closer to spring bind if a high lift cam is used. You really need to keep the installed height at about the stock 1.77" to 1.80"

I have the same cam in my Z06. I used the 7.4's and 918 springs. Everything is just peachy.

BTW-You will like this cam. Slight lope and no driveability issues.
