Default Need help fast..question about patriot duals

im in the middle of my cam swap as we speak. Im putting in my patriot duals gold kit that i bought with the seats, seals, locks, retainers, and springs.

question is...on the ls1howto writeup it says that the exhaust seals are brown, and exhaust are brown. However, all my new seals that came with the kit look identical, and are all brown. Is this normal? Did i get 16 exhaust seals?s

help

ok i just pulled the stock ones out...and they are the same brown color, and same size as my new ones. Why does the writeup say that they are different colors?

I think that the brown are more heat resistant.
