Default solid lifters??? what do i need???

thinking of running solid lifters in my new 404,i have heard rumors of people running them on regular aftermarket cams such as comp cams,is this true ?or do you have to buy a special core solid lifter cam?just curious ,i used to race sbc chevys and we used billet cores, arent they the same as ls-cores?any info would be greatly appreciated,

Don't know about the cores; but comp makes a new line of LSx series solid rollers.

Switching to solid lifters without the more agressive cam is pointless.
