Possible problem....
Well i took my car to the track friday night and was not happy at all. Here are my specs, 2002 SS Camaro,Full weight, stock ls6 heads, prc dual springs, 7.4 tsp pr's, ms4 cam, double roller chain, slp lt's, ory, open dual cutouts in the y, ls7 clutch, moser 12 bolt w/ 3.73's, running m/t 26x11.50's 16". Ok my first run was my best and not impressive at all. It was a 12.6@112. I was running 16 psi in the rear to start out with also had the front sway bar disconnected. My 60' sucked all night w/the best being a 1.9xx on this run. I was launching the car @ 4000 rpm and dumping the clutch and shifting @6500 because the peak was 6300. I know the suspension is not helping any being it is a 1LE car so it is stiff. What i am getting at is the car put down 421 rwhp and 395 tq. It does have a ticking sound but has excellent oil pressure (50psi idle and about 65-70 at speeds). I know with my power even with the crappy 60' time i should have been turning at least 12.0's seeing as how alot of 330rwhp cars are turning what i was turning. The car is tuned and runs and drives fine. It didn't feel that strong either friday night. I'm not sure what the da was, but the track conditions were not ideal nor was the temp (about 85 degrees). The track was atlanta dragway if that helps any. Does anyone have a clue what my problem could be???
