After seeing the "Rod bolt install write-up thread" I've decided to put head studs, main studs and rod bolts on my LQ4 that I will be putting into my 1990 300ZX. My LQ4 is basically brand new, it has 5 miles on it. Since it's so new I would rather not tear it down all the way to install these. So, my question is, what is the minimum parts I have to remove to install these parts? I'm gonna follow the directions in the thread above for the rod bolts. I'm hoping that I can install the other parts in a similar way. Can I install the head studs without pulling the heads and can I install the main studs and side bolts without removing the mains?
