How about a desk lamp (aka Bankers Lamp?).. using a Head some Cam parts for the legs. Insert some Halogen lamps in the valve ports.. ?

Wish I had the parts to do so.. Iron SBC head is a bit heavy for my desk LOL...

You can do 2 heads like that and have it hang over your engine table that would be sick! Or work lights in your garage hung from the ceiling by some chain think that would be pretty sweet!

I'm going to see how much my trashed LS1 block is worth first. If it isn't worth that much I'm going to make a table out of it for my new apartment.

 

Yeah I was going to add a picture of that coffee table, best damn piece of art I've ever seen! I may just go searching a junkyard for a piece of crap block. I'm always looking for something to do so I can spend a few days polishing it up lol. If not a coat of paint does wonders!

Orangepeel you're definately thinking outside the box. You've got me wanting to weld some of my old parts up too, I'm JEALOUS!!!

 

Dude those would be freaking sweet if you drill the head bolt holes into the runners, polish up the runners REALLY well and insert those LED's through the drilled holes to give it a lot of character, then add a lamp shade on top that you can turn on/off seperately. Maybe get some redish/orange LED's to simulate some combustion

 

Yes, its coming out of the grave. Time to start making stuff from the wrecked gsxr! I thought about standing it on end for an entire bike with led's illuminating it and the headlight replaced with a halogen to shine up and and do indirect lighting from the white ceiling. Just havent figured out a good way to suspend it upright.
