Default Ls1 engine swap

Hello everyone and thank you in advance for helping me out. Well im about to purchase a 2004 ls1 that was originally in a GTO. This LS1 engine also has an after market cam (232 236 .542 .572 112 lsa) and springs. Do I have to watch out for anything? Will my 2002 stock cam fit on this 04 ls1? and will this be a good drop in for my Z28? Thank you.

I would actually have this moved to internal...or external, or both lol

But anyway,
Why put your stock cam back in? It is almost not worth the effort you know!
I think it would be a GREAT swap for your car, but leave the cam alone!

Also, that LS1 should fit right in, considering it is the same motor...
