Default Valve Spring Pressure Tester on car??

Has anyone used a valve spring pressure tester to test out their springs while they were still on the car with the stock rocker arms? If so, what kind, where did you get it, and how much was it.

I saw a moroso in Jegs for $75, but I'm not sure if it would work or not.

TIA.

I used one of these on my spare engine while it was on the engine stand with no problems. You would probably have clearance problems on the back cylinders if you use it while the engine is in the car. Mine all checked at 140 seat pressure which is only five lbs. less than they were set up at by Geoff at Thunder. Fairly accurate. I hope this helps. Jimmy
