I just started up my car for the first time since ~October of 06. I have been working on H/C/I, headers, and more for a few months when the mood struck me. I made a push recently to get it running, and finally started it up tonight. I was hesitant to start it. I envisioned turning the key being akin to pulling a pin on a grenade. Thankfully, it started right up and oil pressure jumped to ~63psi within a few seconds. Jeez was I relieved. Man it is loud with open headers. The Bassani stainless dual exhaust and Magnaflow high flow Metalicats will go on as soon as I can schedule a reputable shop to do the cutting and welding.
I would never have been able to plan this, let alone do the work myself, without the help of LS1tech, my friend Tim, and Dave Louden from MaxRevs. I started planning this in early 2006, and I got an incredible amount of help from members here during both the planning and execution stages. The following are just some of the members and sponsors who have answered questions or helped in some other way since I began planning this.
