need help w 6.0 iron block

need help w 6.0 iron block got a 98 stock z w/blown motor and bought a 6 liter to put in it. when i pulled the intake off the 6.0 it has no knock sensors in the valley, so im asking what do ya do if you are swapping longblocks?
What year/model is the 6.0L out of? If it is out of a 1999-2006 it should have the knock sensor in the valley. As for swapping long blocks, the only things needed for the swap are:
1. Drill & Tap boss for alternator
2. Swap flexplate for F-Body flexplate/flywheel
That should be it, as everything else will bolt-on. Since you have a 1998, I would highly suggest that you swap in an LS6 intake now, while you can. That 6.0L is going to need it, or at least put it to very good use.
