Default Hotcam with stock pushrods?

I'm thinking of trying a Hotcam kit with the LS6 springs it comes with, but I'm wondering if it would be wise to change to some stronger pushrods as well. Any opinions?

I kept mine stock.

1. It's less expensive.
2. The lift isn't very on the hotcam.
3. Mostly, I'd rather bend a pushrod than something else!

It couldn't hurt. I had my hotcam installed with upgraded pushrods (it was recommended to me that I do so by the installer - a trusted sponsor of the boards). I have had no probs at all. Good insurance.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the quick response, guys! OK, who has the best price on a Hotcam? The best I've found so far is $400 from Scoggin Dickey.

Scoggin Dickey is the least expensive I've found. Plus they are fast!

Enjoy!
