Default 120k Ms3

I have a 1998 WS6 with 120k on the clock, and it's an A4 with a TCI 3500 stall. I also have a 12 bolt with a trutrac and 3.73's. Along with the usual bolt ons(headers, tru duals dumped, lid, ect.) I am going to be getting a cam next week and want a street monster haha.

How will my car react to an MS3? It will be used for a street car, daily driven, but I want it to be a crazy car from 0-100 and 30-120. Will I get that with the MS3?

Specs are 237/242 .603.609 112

I was going to do a MS4, but the only difference is the bigger intake side...but I have a stock LS1 manifold...and can't pull in enough air to utilize it....

MS3 is a top end only cam. I hope you're revving the nuts off that high-mileage engine. And I hope you're saving for a rebuild if you're gonna rev it to MS3 revs.

Not good thinking. Ls6 intake is a good mod for either of those cams. MS3 wont like the stock intake much- it is quite a hindrance.

I would suggest looking into a cheatr cam (thunder) or a Torquer from TSP if you want to stay with them, or have something custom ground to meet your particular needs.

Hell, I have an MS3 and I cringe when I take it to 7000, and ive got 25000 miles on the clock....

I say bad idea...unless you change the rod bolts and make sure shes tight and ready to go bottom end wise...

I have 107K on the clock and im about to install my MS3 in the next week or 2 still waiting on parts. And you cant just slap that cam in, there are alot of things that need to be installed so that cam will work. The list of parts you will need to get is MS3, Dual valve springs, Gaskets, LS6 Intake, bigger fuel injectors (SVO 30lb in my case), LS2 Timing Chain or better, Oil Pump (Ported LS6 in my case) and thats all i can think of right now but i think thats it. Oh ya and a good tune. Ill let you know in a few weeks how my car is running
