Default Which oil to run?

Sorry for the newbie ? guys but I just picked up my 99 Z28. It has 62000 miles. It is a really clean car, but im not sure what oil was run through it. When i bought it from the dealer he changed it with 5W30 Valvoline. I have read that most people use 5W30 synthetic. If you were me would you switch to Mobil 1 synthetic? Or stay with a regular 5W30?

It's up to you. Either would be fine.

There is nothing mysterious about an LS1... If the oil you used in your last car gave you reliable performance and engine durability, use it in the LS1.

I use Mobile 1 10/30, but I would not be afraid to use something else either.

After losing more oil pressure with the 5w30. I refuse to run it ever again in my car. I would go with at least 10w30 but i think i am going with like a 15w40
