Dumb newb question How much abuse can the stock crank stand up to? I decided to stick an LQ4 motor in my Camaro. Im not used to the LS stuff. Do I need to order an aftermarket crank or can I use the stock crank.
I plan on putting a turbo on it and I want to make sure I dont break anything. If necessary, I will buy a forged crank.

Stock cranks are good for over 900+ rwhp. Which... depending on your drivetrain, thats 950-1000 fwhp. If your going turbo its a good way to save a little cash, over $1000.00 for a after market crank.
