Bottom End Questions i need to know if a 6.0 out of a truck will bolt up to all the top end parts on my ls1???? have a bad bottom end and need a quick fix.....unless anyone has a block for sale!!!!?????
Yeah everything will work. Just use the f-body assesories, balancer, and water pump. You will have to drill and tap a hole for your alternator bracket, but thats it. (truck alt. is on TOP of the motor)
i just got done doing a ls1 to a lq4 swap. i had to change the oil pressure sensor, drill and tap a hole for the alternator bracket, and put the ls1 t56 flywheel on. other than that is was pretty simple. ohhh and this was is a 88 firebird formula.... our motor was a 04 6.0L we got from Truck parts unlimited.
