ARP rod bolt install (lost directions)

ARP rod bolt install (lost directions) no this isnt for me, its for a friend with a Z. He lost the directions for his ARP rod bolts on a 98 LS1 motor. From what I remember theya re 40ft lbs, but not much else.
Do you torque them all to 40 ft lbs, loosen them, and reinstall them 3 times to 40 ft lbs? I can't remember it to well and he doesnt remember at all.

ok, he threw them away by accident but torqued them all to 40 ft lbs. then loosened them up, toqrue to 40 lbs again, loosened the, and final torque to 40 ft lbs. he wants to be sure thats the correct way before he upts the pan and all back on.
I figure they are similar to the katech bolts. 30 ft lbs, loosen them twice and final torque of 50 ft lbs

he had the same ones as me. we both got them from TSP, its them pro series bolts, the damn $90 ones. If its loosen and torque 3 times then I told him right. We both wanted to make absolutly sure I was right though, itd suck if I told him wrong and his rod caps go flying off.

The ARP 8740 material get 45lb-ft. (black bolts)
The ARP 2000 material get 40lb-ft. (grey bolts)
All bolts should be loosened and tightened 3 times, if not using a stretch gauge. All tq. figures are with ARP assembly lube.
