Heads for a 370

Hey everyone my buddy is building a 370 and he and I are curious whether or not it would worth buying 862 (5.3) truck heads and getting them ported, polished, and put bigger valves in them? or would it be better to go with some different heads?

It all depends on what his goal is. I run 5.3L on my 370 with 2.04/1.57 valves. They have been opened to 4.00 bores.

if you can get 243 i think in the end it will out run a 5.3 set up !

If he has the money tell him to get some 225cc AFR or ETP or TFS for a 4 inch bore.
