Default 4.100 bore ?

i have a set of 4.100 pistons that came out of a 382 all bore ls1

my ? is can a 6.0l block be bored out that much?
or does it have to be sleeved

would it work? any suggestions would be apreciated

i am no expert-but i dont think so-

considering the l92 block is 4.060 or .065

i think it has to be sleeved-

Nope, .060 is normal max with sonic test.
I've seen a .080 overbore on a pure racing application, didn't last long.

so guess sleeving it would be the only option if i were to use that piston

The 4.100 were popular a few years back. Most of the first true LS1 strokers were resleeved aluminum blocks that netted 422CI with a 4" stroke. Seems like they are a thing of the past now. The Iron 408 and LS2 402's have taken over.
