I previously ran the Crane 1.8's and am now running the Crane 1.7's (still have the 1.8's on my shelf). Nice rocker, well made, fully adjustable. I looked at the shaft mounts, but the consensus was that some ovalizing of the pushrod holes was required so the pushrods wouldn't contact the head. My Dart heads would have required major work for this. Also, at least when I bought mine, the Yella Terra was causing some float issues for some people. The new ones look excellent though, I am installing a set next week along with a cam for a friend. A couple of people have had issues with the Scorpions so they would be of concern for me unless there is some other problem that they failed, but so far no further feedback from those who had the problem.

I have yella terra 1.7 on my car with 224/224,581/581,114,7.4 pushrods and Prc duals. What are the symtoms when having "float" ? Also, my heads are stock 243's with the regular grafite headgaskets.

I'm currently running the Crane 1.7s but I will be going back to stock or mabey with Scorpions due to the noise of 'em. They work good, just noisy.

yep, i'm using the crane shaft mounts. it takes a fair amount of modifying to get them to fit. also have to use valve cover spacers. i did oval the pushrod holes, mainly because i'm using the 1.8.

Never heard of them. Rockers are critical, I would go with a proven design and manufacturer.
