help ok it is raining real bad down here and i got stuck in a flash flood in my camaro. i just got the new motor in 450 miles ago. now there is a kinda knocking sound. if i have full coverage do yall think i could file a claim. or is there anything i could do.
Re: help you could contact your insurance company and tell them where your car is and they will send a inspector to come listen to the engine. Your best bet is bringing it to a shop and have them make up an estimate before the inspector gets there.

Re: help You probably pulled some water into your motor. Since water doesn't like to compress I'm sure you bent something. Sorry to hear about that...especially with a new motor. I would contact your insurance agent and explain the problem. Hopefully you have all of your receipts for the aftermarket parts. They may ask you to take it to a certain shop instead of sending out an inspector. Either way, you should find out what the problem is. That shouldn't be too hard for you since you built it.
