Biggest cam in an A4???

Biggest cam in an A4??? k back when the T1 cam was new...that was like the most radical cam A4 owners would put in their car. its only 221/221 .558/.558 112lsa. that is small to todays comparisons. i'm really wanting a new cam, but here is my future plans so you know what i'm looking for. cam?, 5.3 truck heads fully ported with 11.1:1 cr, ST3500, and a 150 TNT wet kit. i want as basically the biggest nitrous cam i can get but then again i want it to lope and sound really nasty but still be good N/A. thanks

Re: Biggest cam in an A4??? I'm in the same boat as you. My before cam was the TR224 112 cam with my FLP A4 trans using a vig3600 converter. My new cam is a 228/236 .571.602 111LSA, but, it's going to be mated with 5.3 SII heads.
Re: Biggest cam in an A4??? i run a 230/230 on a 111 lsa comp grind and i know a few others do. i know a few people running around with the big *** G5X or whatever it is called cam. same comp grind but a 238/240 area i believe. anything more than 224 duration is gonna be work to get it to be smooth.

Re: Biggest cam in an A4??? I've got the G5X2 with S2 heads and I love it! It's a 232/240 .595/.609 112. Putting the new NXL direct port on when it comes out. Prolly have to build the bottom end first though
