how much hp do these cams make?
how much hp do these cams make? hey all. i'm thinking of getting the tr 224/224 .563/.563 112 lsa, or the 230/224 .575/.563 112 lsa cam swap package as well as an asp pulley, holley aluminum intake manifold (i'm also going to get it ported), getting my stock heads ported and put 2.055 or 2.080 valves in, and of course a timing chain, and sprockets. now my question is; with all of these mods and all the mods in my sig, anybody know about how much hp and or et's i'll be running. and anybody have any sound clips? any info will be helpful. what do yall thnk of this set up? 
Re: how much hp do these cams make? Dude do a search, or scroll down and you will find gobs of different combos, and different outputs. Eacha dn every vehicle is exactly DIFFERENT. hell, I'd put money on that if you buy two cams the same grind, and install, dyno and swap you will come with a different number for each due to the weather, time, and tolerance diff between each.
Re: how much hp do these cams make? yeah i know what u mean, i found how much the cam makes. i was just curious if anyone tried running the same set ups and how they liked it and how much hp i could expect.

Re: how much hp do these cams make? most people don't run valves that big on a 346. its kind of overkill, but not in a good way. most heads and cam car run around 11.0-11.5 on slicks. the bigger valves will hurt you more then help you. most go with 2.02 intakes and 1.57 exhaust unless you've got extra cubes...2.08 is just silly. if your going for lots of power then get the 230/224 cam or bigger.
