Default cam install question

to do the jrp lift method of holding the lifters up, do i need to removed the rocker arms and pushrods. Im asking this because ive already swapped my springs. thanks

I would think so, the lifters aren't going to stay up high enough to slide the tool in since the pushrods will be driving them down on to the cam lobes.

But, at least the rockers and pusrods are the easy part.

ya i was thining along those lines, so ill just take off the arms, no biggie
