Default Cracked block need help

my car has a cutout and lid no other mods... and 50,000 miles barely abused... I ran it for 2 hours ... then it sat for a week and when i went to start it the car started and sounded like marbles in it and i shut it off and then oil started pouring out and went under teh car and the block is cracked drivers side right above oil pan in the back two cylinders... Now i am wondering what to do should i get a used motor.. or get a new block and swap all the parts or a gm goodwrench... or a new ls1 motor from somewhere...

I vote buy a stroker longblock from somebody.

Always go bigger if you have to fork out the money either way. You could get a really good motor for the price of another LS1 longblock.

Just my opinion, but if you have to put a new motor in you may as well put a MOTOR in ! ! !

search the for sale forum on this site. but you can get a build shortblock from some the sponsors here for around 3k, then just swap your parts on to the new motor.
