Yeah sorry I assumed you had the TR230.

I'm wondering because I will still be daily driving this car for about another year. I drive about 4-500 miles per week.

Anyone know what kind of changes to expect from bolt-on to TR230 in the city?

TR230 is a great cam. I ran best ET of 11.2 and best mph of 123.5 cam only LS1 @ 3500lbs. I ended up selling that one and buying another for my cam only LS6, times in sig for that @ about 3450lbs. I did all this on a TSP mail order tune. I could definitely go bigger but I don't see the need.

it is a streetable came with the correct tune. with a suspect tune it will be a pain in the ***. it will be a little more forgiving with an m6 i think

This cam has always performed well. I can't wait to get it with some ported LS6 heads.

What lobes is this cam based on?

This is the cam predator z recommended for me. When I put take the tranny out to get rebuilt next month, I have a set of LT's I am going to put on. It's so tempting to go ahead and put a cam and LS6 intake on it and just be done with it.

Should I put a LS6 oil pump and new rod bolts in it? The car has great oil pressure and uses no oil at all. I constantly check it.

My exhaust setup with be XS long tubes w/ ORYP and the factory firehawk catback. I think it should flow pretty well.

I live in southern Indiana, anyone know of a really good tuner? Thanks.

thunder can make you a custom cam. That shouldn't affect it too much. Just move the power band up and spread it around a little. It's all about valve timing.

The lobes are proprietary to Thunder. I have never had any complaints about power prodution and it works well with an LS6 intake and stock heads for people who don't have the budget or inclination to go all out heads and intake. With a good tune the cam is perfect in any daily driver especially M6 cars with 4.10's or better. It gives up nothing down low to our 224 cams but adds a nice bit of additional top end power for those willing to use it.

Thanks,
Shane
